Kuppler Shines on First Day of Forester Fall Classic
 
 PERU, Ind. (Men's Golf)—After one day of competition at the Forester Fall Classic hosted by Huntington College, the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods Pomeroy men's golf team is in fourth place with a team score of 319.
 
Indiana Wesleyan University leads the field with a score of 303. Mt. Vernon Nazarene University is in second place with a score of 304 while Indiana University- South Bend is in third place with 316. The fifth place spot is being held by Huntington with score of 320. Indiana University -Kokomo is in sixth place with a score of 321. Spring Arbor University is in seventh place with a score of 322.
 
Colton Kuppler was the top golfer for SMWC today with score of 73 and is tied for first place. Braxton McIntyre finished the day with a score of 80 while Nathan Higbie finished with a score of 82. Benjamin Meyers ended  the first round with a score of 84. Justin Wilson rounded out the Pomeroys scores with a 86.
 
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods will continue play on Saturday at 8 a.m.
