#PomeroyWXC Places Fifth at Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. (Women's Cross Country) –  The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's cross country team took to the course for the Bradley "Pink" Classic hosted by Bradley University on Friday afternoon. The Pomeroys came in fifth place with 125 points and an average time of 25:46.4.

Windsor claimed the first place title with 27 points and an average run time of 23:58.3. Monmouth College finished in second place with 68 points and an average run time of 24:32.6. In third place was Greenville College with 88 points and an average run time of 24:53.3. Harper College came in fourth place with 100 points and an average time of 25:04.7. Individually, Sydney Hawkins of Windsor won top honors with a time of 23:25.4.

SMWC had three runners in the top 15 for this meet. Kendyll Schulz was the top finisher for the Pomeroys in 11th place with a time of 24:17.1. In 13th place, Cheyenn Wright finished with a time of 24:23.7. Breanna Barger claimed 14th place with a time of 24:28.9.

Corrissa Proctor finished the race with a time of 27:40.2. Saige Woodford ended with a time of 28:01.9 while Teresa Dudley finished with a time of 28:16.9. Celine Hornick crossed the finish line with a time of 29:49.8. Rounding out the team, Hanna Camden finished with a time of 32:12.0.

The Pomeroys will hit the course again on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the St. Louis Fall Classic hosted by St. Louis College of Pharmacy. The meet is set to start at 9:00 a.m.
