ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Women's Cross Country) – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's cross country team traveled to the St. Louis Fall Classic, hosted by the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, on Saturday afternoon. The Pomeroy ran well and finished in third place out of 10 teams. The team had 97 points and an average time of 20:42.
The race was won by the College of the Ozarks with 56 points and an average time of 20:06. Individually, Torri Holder of the College of the Ozarks with a time of 19:16.44.
SMWC featured two runners in the top ten. Cheyenn Wright came in fifth place with a time of 19:44.53, while Breanna Barger came in seventh place with a time of 19:50.86. Kendyll Schulz finished with a time of 20:27.45. Corrissa Proctor crossed the finish line with a time of 20:49.03 and Saige Woodford finished with a time of 22:33.83. Teresa Dudley ended the race with a time of 22:59.88. Celine Hornick finished with a time of 23:59. Taylor Burch crossed the finish line with a time of 24:42.95 while Elizabeth Trausch ended with a time of 26:00.10. Hanna Camden rounded out the team with a time of 27:58.46.
SMWC will hit the course again on Thursday, Nov. 2 as they head to the North Central College Invite in Napier, Ill. Race start time is set for 5 p.m.
