NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Women's Cross Country) – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's cross country team competed in their final meet of the regular season on Thursday at the Red/White Open hosted by North Central College. The Pomeroys came in fourth place with an average time of 19:54 and score of 119.
Two Pomeroys finished in the top 20 of the race as freshmen Kendyll Schulz came in 16th with a time of 19:10.3 and Breanna Barger in 18th place with a time of 19:15.4. Cheyenn Wright finished with a time of 19:29.2. The fourth fastest Pomeroy was Corrissa Proctor with a time of 20:04.2. Teresa Dudley crossed the finish line with a time of 21:36.8 while Saige Woodford came in with a time of 21:43.4. Celine Hornick finished the race with a time of 23:20.4. Taylor Bunch finished the meet with a time of 23:25.9 while Hanna Camden crossed the finish line with a time of 24:07.4. Rounding out the team was Elizabeth Trausch with a time of 25:06.4.
Washington University won the meet with a score of 24 points and an average time of 18:07. The top individual was Paige Lawler of Washington with a time of 17:12.3.
